Decorative Uplighting – What are uplighters?
For your first dance, the lights can be set to your colour scheme to help your photographer create a fairytale first dance photo
Decorative Uplighting for Weddings
Wedding lighting is undoubtedly one of the most underrated elements. It sets the overall mood for your wedding and allows you to show off all the pretty details you’ve spent months thinking about. Plus, you’ll want your guests to be able to properly enjoy their food and the dance floor, and you’ll want your photos to be exquisite. You can’t do any of those things with poor or insufficient lighting!
We have a range of equipment available including wired and wireless uplighting options.
Decorative uplighting transforms the area around the dancefloor and paints the walls with light.
When you think about how many uplighters you need, you should consider what you would like to light up with the uplighters.
For example, you might want to:
uplight the pillars in the room (Down Hall)
add light to a dark room (Prested Hall)
light up the draping in a marquee (Parklands and Mulberry House).
Decorative uplighting is also a way to enhance the look of a dancefloor by lighting up the walls and ceilings around the dancing space. As your evening guests arrive and during your first dance, our uplighters will be set to a colour of your choice.
Our decorative uplighters can produce a large range of different colours and we can fit in with your chosen colour scheme.
The uplighters are placed on the floor, against the walls and the light is aimed upwards so that the wall and the ceiling are lit. We use professional uplighters and our lights use powerful LEDs that remain cool to touch so that any inquisitive children will not burn their hands.
For venues with limited power supply (i.e. Down Hall), we use cutting edge battery powered, cable-free, wireless uplighters.
Attention to details like uplighting can make a major difference and sometimes overlooked.
