What is your first dance song?? Have you even chosen it??
Here is a list of some of the most played songs at weddings, hopefully it will give you some inspiration if you haven't chosen already.
Ed Sheeran - Perfect
This track is widely used by many couples and just listening to the lyrics you can see why. It was only released in 2017 but soon became the song of choice.
John Legend - All of me
This song from 2013 suits many couples and was inspired by Johns then-fiancée, now wife, model Chrissy Teigen. “All of Me” is the third single from and sixth track on John Legend's album, Love in the Future.
Lonestar - Amazed
Released in March 1999 "Amazed" is a song by American country music group Lonestar.
The opening lyrics speak for themselves : -
Every time our eyes meet ,This feeling inside me, Is almost more than I can take, Baby, when you touch me, I can feel how much you love me, And it just blows me away.
This track is an obvious choice by the great Aerosmith. It's actually a rock ballad created for the 1998 natural disaster film Armageddon, which lead singer Steven Tyler's daughter Liv Tyler starred in.
The late great Frank Sinatra released this track way back in 1964! But it still remains as one of the most requested tracks for a first dance.
Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud
Yes its Ed again! But this goes to show his amazing song writing talent, plus in the UK, the song spent 19 weeks within the top 40, before peaking at number one in early November 2014. The video features Ed Sheeran dancing with Brittany Cherry, in what can only be every brides dream first dance.
Etta James - At Last
In 1960 Etta James recorded this track, but more recently Celine Dion and Beyoncé had chart success with the song too.
